Yesterday I presented the concept of “navimation” for the first time in a public setting, at the UXnet meeting “Hvordan skaper man gode brukeropplevelser?”.

Navimation (navigation+animation) is basically a phenomena that appears by introducing animation and dynamic movement in screen-based interfaces for navigation in digital content. The main assumption is that animation and dynamic movement provide the possibility of designing new types of interfaces, and bring more flow to the experience of using a digital interface.
